Made in France from high quality material produced in France or Germany, the Pascale Lion adds another element of style to the Tiffany Treloar range.
These delicate pieces made from stainless steel, a perfectly neutral material, are such high-grade that they are suitable for contact with food and have no impact on your health.
The composition of the chainmail* involves intricate bronzing or gilding in fine gold, while the mesh pieces are made of bronze and either gilded in fine gold or silver plated.
The steel is mostly recycled and indefinitely recyclable.
Pascale Lion is an interior architect and designer. She lives and works in Paris and teaches at the National School of Decorative Arts (ENSAD). She created the first necklaces in 2009 while working on pieces of larger dimensions for interior design.
*Chainmail is an ancient material, nowadays produced industrially for protection against sharp cutting tools like steel/mesh gloves, aprons and even bullet-proof vests!
